President Trump Calls For Unity, Says Both Parties Need To Put Partisanship Aside

President Trump is calling for unity on the heels of the midterm elections. During a briefing at the White House Wednesday, the president called on both parties to put partisanship aside and work together on issues that matter to voters. This includes health care, immigration and tax cuts.

He touted Tuesday’s election results., saying the Republican Party defied history by expanding majority in the Senate during an off-year election and exceeded expectations in the House.
